a) If you want to find a grocery store or a restaurant:
Just enter your postal code above and specify the distance you are willing to travel and then start browsing nearby establishments.
You may also use the Advanced Search option to look for more specific information such as:
- If you know the name, or part of the name of the restaurant or grocery store you are looking for, you can search for it here.
- A particular type of restaurant or grocery store. (eg. type 'vegetarian' in the sub-category field and you will find all vegetarian restaurants within a certain distance of the postal code you entered, or if you are looking for pizza we'll browse nearby pizzarias.)
- A certain item from a restaurant menu or a grocery store flyer (eg. type 'lobster' and we will only show those restaurants that have at least one item in their menu that is made with lobster, or find the grocery store that has lobster on their current flyer).
- You can also enter your street address in case you do not remember your postal code; or just enter the name of your city, and we will display all places to shop for groceries or eat out in that city.
- The search is performed in inclusive state; for example. if you key in the words pizza for the subcategory and
pizzaria for part of the restaurant name, and ottawa in the city field and garlic
in the item field ; then our system will attempt to find a restaurant by the name of someone's pizzaria
in the subcategory of pizza having an item such as for instance garlic fingers in the city of ottawa.
Those listings that match _all_ these criteria will be displayed.
If you want to search for listing matching _either_ pizza subcategory _or_ with a name like someone's pizzaria _or_ having garlic fingers in the city of ottawa, try to enter these search terms one at a time and click on the appropriate search buton.
Once we have displayed the results of your search, you can click on any of the search results to go to their foodpages website.
Then you can browse their specials or menu items and vote for the quality of the grocery store or restaurant in question.
b) If you are a Grocery Store or a Restaurant wishing to inform potential customers of your products and services:
